Matt Groening created The Simpsons, so he gets a lifetime pass in my book, but his newest project is shaping up to be his third long-running, successful series. Disenchantment is a collaboration between the cartoonist and the king of streaming services, Netflix, that finds Groening wading into fairly new waters...
In Disenchantment, viewers will be whisked away to the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland, where they will follow the misadventures of hard-drinking young princess Bean, her feisty elf companion Elfo, and her personal demon Luci. Along the way, the oddball trio will encounter ogres, sprites, harpies, imps, trolls, walruses, and lots of human fools.
The show's official Twitter page posted these three teaser images on Tuesday, giving us our first official look at the project...

Then we got an additional four substantially more detailed images from the show from cartoonist Bob Flynn yesterday...

Granted it's not much, but now we've at least got a solid handle on what to expect. The first ten episodes will be released in August, followed by additional ten episode drops every few weeks.
