Is ‘Paragon’ Going To Be Good? Better Ask the Backstreet Boys

A few months back, we knew slim to eff all about Paragon. It was coming at us from Epic, the Gears of War guys, and featured a bunch of guys and gals who’d be right at home in any spacetastic shooter. That was all. Epic hadn’t allowed us to suckle at their sweet, sweet info-teats at all, other than dropping a couple of promo images of characters and such.

That, as my ol’ pa used to say, ain’t not enough for no man. Which it wasn’t. But now all the easy teasing and hyping is done with, and we know what’s what. Paragon, it turns out, isn’t the generic Halo-flavored FPS a lot of us were expecting. It’s a third-person MOBA. Now you know.

What we haven’t seen, though, is a great deal of gameplay. We need someone to dive scrote-deep into the game and give us their expert, unbiased, informative opinion. That person, natch, should be Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys. Who the hell wants to hear from fancy-ass critics or reviewers, when some ballache slice of poptastic craptastic is available?

I’m not sure what qualified this guy to cruise over to Epic’s studios and check out Paragon (he’s the only member of the band I can name off the top of my head, but that’s not exactly a ringing endorsement), but cruise over he did; Destructoid brings us the whole story.

What’s next, Justin Timberlake reviewing restaurants or something?
