IMAX Spot and Poster for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Released (VIDEO)

There are just thirteen days left until The Dark Knight Rises, and the anticipation can't get any higher. Warner Bros. has amped up the viral campaign for the movie and have released a couple of spots, posters, and a whole lot of new stills from the movie.

We just got our hands on the IMAX spot for The Dark Knight Rises, which explains why it's fitting to catch the end of Batman's legend in IMAX. You can watch it by hitting 'play' in the player above.

It's been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. For a time, criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the anti-crime Dent Act.

But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is Bane, whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.

The Dark Knight Rises hits 2D and IMAX theaters on July 20th and stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Morgan Freeman.
