Spiders. They're creepy, they're crawly, and while I admit some of them look pretty bad-ass, they also tend to be deadly and poisonous. So really, what's not to hate?

One or two spiders is bad enough. Three particularly huge ones are enough to make most people's skins crawl. But hundreds upon hundreds of spiders falling from the sky? It's everyone's worst nightmare, even for the self-proclaimed fearless or the thick-skinned.

So it didn't really rain spiders in Brazil. Rather, they seemed to be blown by the wind or something because a guy walking around Santo Antonio da Plantina after attending an engagement party happened upon this very unsightly sight. I'm sure it was a random, freak occurrence, but I won't be planning any trips to Brazil soon, that's for sure.
