Believe it or not, some of these damned kids these days and their fancy technology have created little masterpieces of video editing wizardry. This particular video claims to fix Star Wars: The Last Jedi in just twenty seconds, and I must admit that it not only makes me laugh, I think it will be considered by many TLJ haters out there to be substantially better than what's in the finished film.
Adding Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" is a great way to make any action seem badass. This is a fact. Jack Black makes kidnapping look like a riotous bunch of fun in School of Rock thanks to the power of that song. Now the song works its magic by bridging two of the most talked about moments in the film.
It's a great little bit of editing that's sure to have many rabid fans declaring this the better option. Hell, they could edit it right into their female-free version of the film. Nothing gay at all about cutting all of the women out of Star Wars. Seems like the most hetero-normative decision anyone could possibly make.
Do us all a favor and just enjoy this video as it was intended, don't entertain me with your dissertations on what, precisely, makes an all-male version of Star Wars better.
