Hollywood hasn't done nearly as much to help Japan as it did to help Haiti, even though the disaster that struck Japan was about a hundred times worse, if for no other reason than Haiti sucked to begin with. Japan is awesome. They have hot girls, karate and robots. The only thing we should be building in Haiti is a wall around it. Anyway, point being, Gwen Stefani is really nice.

On Wednesday Stefani donated $1 million to Save the Children's Japan Earthquake-Tsunami Children in Emergency Fund to help with recovery efforts in the devastated nation.
"I've been inspired by Japan for many years and have a true love, appreciation and respect for the Japanese people and their culture," Stefani told Us.com in a statement. "The disaster in Japan is beyond heartbreaking, and I want to do anything I can to help. I would never be able to make a gesture like this without the love and support of all the fans over all these years."
In addition to her donation, (her fashion line) L.A.M.B. will unveil a limited edition Harajuku Lovers T-shirt through nodoubt.com; all proceeds from sales will go to help in relief efforts.

It's so nice to see a woman being this generous. A few nights ago I was in bed and thought I heard someone in the house and my girlfriend wouldn't even go downstairs and check it out while I hid in the bathroom. Talk about selfish.
