GAMING

In video game release language a release date like "Spring 2013" means it's certainly not coming out in January or February and definitely not May or June of next year. Spring usually means the very end of March. That way, when a company like Rockstar says they're dropping a game like Grand Theft Auto V in Spring 2013 they're doing it so they can tell investors and Wall Street types that they're releasing their best product in the first quarter of the year. Anyway that's what they're doing.
"Grand Theft Auto V builds on everything we've learned about open world game design," said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. "We can't wait to share it with fans."
To get the money train rolling though, pre-orders for GTAV begin next week, November 5. That's before we're even hearing about Special Collector's Mega Deluxe editions that will come with posters and statues or something crazy. Just throw your money at Rockstar as soon as possible and everything will be okay. In the meantime, enjoy all of the GTA V media we've got.
