And, lo, the next generation has become the current generation. The moment that Xbox One and PlayStation 4 finally made their way from our dreams/piss-smelling sweatshops into our homes, the paradigm shift occurred. Does this make PS3 and Xbox 360 both current and past-gen simultaneously? Are there two ‘currents?' It's like a really quite tedious and nerdy episode of the Twilight Zone, right here. Another one, that is.
Still though, the latest system entering the market isn't an instant death knoll for the previous. It's all much more of a bitch than that. A horribly drawn-out affair, in which canny developers release bollocks like The Flintstones Racing Featuring Crazy Frog on the old system while nobody's looking.
PS3 is certainly beyond the prime of its life, but it's still capable of some ball-busting big hitters. Gran Turismo 6, for instance, which releases worldwide tomorrow. In preparation, feast your bodily orifices on the trailer above.
