When I say the word McDonald's, what comes to mind. Perhaps memories of childhood eating a Happy Meal while playing on their playground? Maybe you think of Ronald, Grimace, and the Hamburglar? For many people what they think about is how patently unhealthy McDonald's is. The last few years McDonald's has been trying to counter this image by making their food nominally more healthy. But with this product they just said, "eff that". The McChoco Potato is debuting in Japan and will soon make its way to the United States. What is it? Imagine a bunch of McDonald's delicious french fries covered in milk and white chocolate. Sounds disgusting? Or awesome? I can't decide. I do know that the primary ingredient is type 2 diabetes.
If this does come to the U.S. I may try it just for the heck of it. I imagine it will lead to projectile vomiting next to the Grimace swing set.
