Get an Inside Look at ‘Deadpool 2’s Many Easter Eggs in New Featurette (VIDEO)

One thing there's no shortage of in Deadpool 2 is easter eggs and this new featurette gives us some insight into how those things make it into the movie in the first place. As co-writer and producer Paul Wernick says at the beginning of the video, comic book fans expect easter eggs in this day and age, and it's a challenge hiding them all in plain sight.

Sadly this video doesn't reveal a whole bunch of them, but it gives you a good idea of the level of detail happening during the film's production. Set decorators cramming stuff into the various sets, Ryan Reynolds adding them in improvised lines, and the like has got to make for a fairly chaotic set. As someone who enjoys watching films multiple times, though, I'm glad that someone's jamming every last available inch of real estate in the film full of obscure jokes.

Honestly, what other reason is there to watch Deadpool 2 multiple times? Sure it's funny and all, but you get the gist the first time around. The diehards return again and again to figure out all the little nuances and such so they can go brag about it on the internet. For if we cannot brag on the internet, why does it exist at all? Deadpool 2 is out now on DVD, Blu-ray, and Digital HD.
