Game Of Thrones Producers Apologize For The Last Episode

Stop reading this now if you haven't seen Game of Thrones season 6 Episode 5 "The Door". You have been spoiler alerted. For those of you who remain, you know that heartless a-holes George R.R. Martin, DB Weiss, and David Benioff killed off beloved character Hodor at the end off the episode. The gentle giant sacrificed his life holding back an army of wights so that Bran Stark, (who is seriously on my shit list), and Meera could escape. It pissed a lot of people off. Even for a show that kills beloved characters with abandon, this one was a tough one. In a world where even the good guys do bad things, Hodor was a true innocent. Who knows what else these producers will do? Will they make Sansa be pregnant with Ramsey's baby as some people are speculating? Will Danaerys kill Tyrion for making a deal with the slavers? Who knows? And they killed ANOTHER Direwolf. Peta is going to be pissed.

Here are Weiss and Benioff to apologize for the episode. Not so much for what they did as for the real world consequences of their actions.
