Former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins Wearing $3 Million Headpiece

I think that one of the hardest things about being a fashionista has got to be wearing items of jewelry and clothing that cost obscene amounts of money. Take this headpiece that former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins is wearing for example. It's a three million dollar white diamond headpiece, the most expensive single piece ever crafted by world famous jeweler Nic Cerrone.

Honestly, though, what do you do if that thing gets yoinked off your head? Or falls off and breaks? Or any number of things that can happen to a headband over the course of an evening? It's a real gamble putting something like that on your head, but I suppose that's the price you pay for wanting to have nice things. And it's also why none of us can have nice things, I suppose.

At the very least, you can say that Jennifer wore it well. I'm sure it got returned to the jeweler shortly after the event and everything is now safe and sound. Then again, perhaps Zorro or some other "rob from the rich to give to the poor" type of bandit absconded with the real thing and replaced it with an intricate replica. Could go either way in this day and age.
