Following his Oscar win for his debut feature Get Out, Jordan Peele had carte blanche to do whatever he liked for his follow-up, and he's chosen Us. Information about the film has been limited to a two sentence synopsis prior to yesterday's release of the film's first poster...

“A mother (Lupita Nyong’o) and a father (Winston Duke) take their kids to their beach house expecting to unplug and unwind with friends (including Elizabeth Moss). But as night descends, their serenity turns to tension and chaos when some shocking visitors arrive uninvited.”

Frankly, I don't need to know more than this. I'm sure there will be a trailer, but if Peele keeps things vague, his name is enough to get people back in theaters for this one. Finding out that Tim Heidecker is involved is enough to get me in the theater for this one, as will my recently gifted year of the MoviePass-esque AMC A-List. Three movies a week for a year? I'm going to see everything.

But Us especially, and I'm sure you feel likewise. Peele is a singular voice and one who blends horror and comedy in new and exciting ways. Us is currently slated to open on March 15.
