I know that only cucks and SJWs like Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but they're people too and deserve new information about the film. For those of us out there that still enjoy reading novelizations of films, there's some really good info in this new video about the upcoming Last Jedi novelization, including some footage from the film's deleted scenes!
Granted, most of this video is shameless promotion for a Star Wars cruise of some sort, but the new footage is contained in the segment about the film's novelization that starts at the 3:12 mark. The novelization is being written by Jason Fry, the man who wrote the now presumed jettisoned Star Wars: The Essential Atlas, and both he and Rian Johnson talk about their process in fleshing out the story and adding in scenes that include Han Solo's funeral and a flashback to Paige & Rose together.
Now, I know that the novelizations aren't canon either, because Rey met Poe at the end of the Force Awakens novelization, but they're still fun to read, especially when they add in dialogue not in the movie. For those of you interested, the book is set to release on March 6, and there's also a teaser for additional deleted scenes on the upcoming—but as yet undated—release of the films on Digital HD & Blu-ray.
