Final Destination Like Accident Takes Out Two Married Nike Staff!

In what seems like a scene from a Final Destination movie, two Nike employees have died in a freak accident as they were biking through California last week. The couple from Portland were riding through Napa Valley when a truck carrying lumber passed by and somehow some of that lumber rolled off the truck and hit the couple.

Michelle and Christian Denton were both employed by Nike, with Christian acting as VP of Product and Merchandising at Nike Swim and Michelle working for the brand as a graphic designer. The accident killed Christian on the sight while Michelle made it to the hospital before dying.

According to The Oregonian, the couple had been married for 21 years and loved to travel and do active things together every day.

This seems like another reason to stay home and not bike on a highway, I'll stick to my NordicTrack!
