Enjoy the Short Prequel to the Remake of the Reboot of ‘Evil Dead’ or…Something Like That (VIDEO)

If you've seen any of the trailers for the remake of The Evil Dead (which you can now watch below), you'll know that it combines two of my favorite things: Jane Levy and the most disturbing images of pain, suffering and demonic possession I've ever seen. And for any Sam Raimi or just Evil Dead franchise fans out there, you know that the original 1981 film was only financed because of a short film Raimi made with iron-jawed pal Bruce Campbell to shop around to potential investors as a sample of what was to follow.

Well that short film, 'Within the Woods' is now available for you to catch online and it's probably exactly what you'd expect from Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell with a budget of $1600. Enjoy.
