CELEBRITY

Emily Ratajkowski’s existence in the celebrity realm is more gimmicky than gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. On paper it sounds like a good idea, but after further examination the actual execution is unimpressive and leaves much to be desired. That’s why Emily is involving herself in political protests and defending every body shape of women online. It’s her way of networking. Because the only two qualifications she has on her resumé is bikini salesperson and experienced disrober. Sarah Hyland stripped down for a selfie on social media and was shamed for being too skinny.
Sarah Hyland, who plays Winter's on-screen sister in the Emmy-winning sitcom, was attacked by comments section-dwelling trolls after posting a stunning selfie on Instagram. The photo shows a surgical scar from a kidney transplant Hyland received in 2012, and she hashtagged the photo "#showyourscars."
Instagram users unfairly criticized Hyland's weight, calling her "sickly skinny" and saying she had "too much fucking bone." Another wrote, "Eat something u look like u haven't ate [sic] in years."
Emily Ratajkowski, who is no stranger to the vitriol of body shamers, swooped in and shut down Hyland's haters.
“You look amazing. Fuck em (& you kill it in @inamaorata swim every time!)” Ratajkowski commented.
Some people tend to forget so fast. A twiggy Hyland in a two piece is nowhere near as nightmarish as an oily Lena Dunham overdosing on doughnuts that Emily also draped in one of her bikinis. If you want to be upset and body shame someone, Dunham is more than deserving. Rata could have just as easily asked Ariel Winter to promote her product. Would that have been better? A looming uncertainty whether or not to be excited over Ariel's photos because she looks like a sensual Miss Piggy. She's big, but not that big. And she's in a bikini. Your mind is telling you no, but your body, your body is telling you yes.
