Dua Lipa sat down with GQ magazine to eat pizza and talk about her new album, Future Nostalgia. She said she came up with the name for her album when walking through Las Vegas alone one night and was also inspired by Outkast and Gwen Stafani, she says the name is a reference to the 2000s electropop she grew up on.
“I want it to be the album that young girls look back on the way I look back on Missundaztood by Pink or The Dutchess by Fergie, I want it to be a soundtrack for young girls when they get older. I want it to age well.”
The album has been doing well since it’s release, her video for the song Physical was styled like an 80’s fitness video and had Dua showing off her moves in a custom branded bodysuit.
