What, precisely, is the criteria for being considered an American Influencer, because judging it based solely on the people who attended the Second Annual American Influencer Awards, the only thing they seem to have in common is I've never heard of them. Well, I mean, I recognize some of their names, but none of their face, and I also just assume that Farrah Abraham doesn't ever turn an invitation to walk the red carpet, even if she doesn't bother taking the time to properly blend her powder and foundation.
The 2nd Annual American Influencer Awards was a veritable who's who of who the fuck is that? I couldn't possibly pick a single one of these ladies out of a lineup and I'm not entirely positive I captioned them all correctly either. I couldn't tell you what Draya Michele or Lala Kent have had a hand in influencing this year, but I sure am happy to look at them dressed up in sexy outfits.
While I'm sure all of these women have some influence over certain sections of the population, and my having not heard of them doesn't negate any of that influence, but seriously folks? These people are American Influencers? Or are these just the closest we could wrangle to American Influencers on short notice? Either way, we need to do better as a society.
