Drag Racer Gets Up Close and Personal with Camera (VIDEO)

When most race fans think of Bristol they imagine races like the Food City 500, the Irwin Tools Night Race, or the Scotts Turf Builder 300; all events on the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide circuits. However, for those who like pure, unbridled, straight up speed there is the ADRL Spring Drags III (at the Bristol Dragway).

Just like all race fans, those who go to the drag races go for the crashes as much as the speed. There is just something about a piece of machinery flying at speeds around 170 miles per hour and wiping out that makes us want to watch. Thankfully, no one was hurt in this crash during qualifying on Friday.

Oh, and Danica Patrick might want to watch out. If the male fan base in NASCAR ever gets an eye on the driver in this crash, 21-year old Lizzy Musi, they might forget about her and her GoDaddy commercials pretty quick.
