Don’t Feel Sorry for Chad Johnson

Things have not been going so well for Chad Johnson lately. After a good start to the summer, one that saw him get picked up by the Miami Dolphins and married to Evelyn Lozada (of Basketball Wives fame) things went south real quick.

An argument led to a now infamous head-butt, a short stay in jail, getting cut by Dolphins, and a divorce after just 41 days of marriage (take that Kim Kardashian!). At the tender old age of 34 and with his skills in serious question, it is unlikely that the veteran wide receiver will get picked up by another team any time soon.

So with his marriage and career over what's a guy to do? Some would belly up to a bar. Others would buy a gallon of ice cream and feast. Others would find some 'companionship' and get back in the saddle as soon as possible.

The man formerly known as Ochocinco had a different idea. He bought the new Lamborghini.

On Monday Chad Johnson tweeted that he had just bought the new Lamborghini Aventador. In case you're wondering--the price tag was a cool $376,000. Not bad for a guy without a job, right?

It's good to see that he has found a way to cope with all that he's lost lately. Perhaps it is even better to see that he must not have done what his old buddy Terrell Owens has done along with Vince Young and blown everything he has made during his career. Then again, for all we know he could be living in the small but totally awesome front seat of his brand spanking new Lamborghini.

Poor guy.

(Check out the Lamborgini Aventador when the guys of the BBC's Top Gear check it out!)
