Mark your calendars because Paramount+ is bringing true crime fans a twisted new obsession.

Happy Face, the latest series inspired by a real life nightmare, premieres with a two episode drop on March 20, followed by weekly episodes.

Starring the iconic Dennis Quaid as Keith Jesperson, the infamous "Happy Face Killer", this series is set to explore the deeply unsettling story of murder, family, and redemption.

At the heart of the series is Melissa Reed, Jesperson’s estranged daughter who is played by Annaleigh Ashford. After decades of silence, Melissa’s life is upended when her father forces his way back into her world. But this isn’t your typical father daughter reunion, it’s laced with dread and moral conflict.

Melissa discovers that an innocent man is on death row for a crime her father committed, and she’s faced with the impossible decision to confront her serial killer dad in a fight to save the wrongfully accused.

Dennis Quaid steps into one of his darkest roles yet, portraying Jesperson with the chilling charisma of a man who left a trail of victims and signed his confessions with smiley faces. If the trailer is anything to go by, Quaid’s performance will leave you squirming in your seat.

Stream the two-episode premiere of Happy Face on Paramount+ starting March 20, and brace yourself for a weekly dose of haunting revelations!
