New York Giants rookie running back David Wilson said he'd been enshrined in Canton, Ohio in the Pro Football Hall of Fame once his career was over. So far it's not looking too good, but good news for Wilson! Well, maybe that's the wrong way to put it, but Andre Brown reportedly broke his leg yesterday, so Ahmad Bradshaw's primary backup could be done for the year.
That means Wilson could start getting carries. In last night's win, Wilson registered six runs for 13 yards, the most action he's had in weeks. Wilson also caught one pass for five yards, and returned three kickoffs, averaging 24 yards per return. Of course, Wilson will have to keep the confidence of head coach Tom Coughlin. Wilson fumbled in week one and basically got blacklisted from the offense.
Still, we'll see how Wilson does if moves up the depth chart and starts getting the rock on a semi-regular basis.
