By now, a lot of you PS4 owning Ego-dudes will have had your fill of Bloodborne. By which I mean, heaved your controller/console/grandma through the window while shrieking a string of the sweariest swears that were ever sworn. Those chalice dungeons? They made me their bitch several times over.
As far as I'm concerned, this console exclusive action RPG is some of the most ball-bustingly difficult gaming of the new generation. Would you expect anything else from the spiritual successor to the Souls games? Of course you wouldn't.
So, anywho. If the game left you crying sad, sad tears of sadness and defeat on the kitchen lino, this news isn't for you. If, on the other hand, you cruised though Bloodborne with one hand on the controller and the other on your huge, swollen e-peen, listen up: Dark Souls 3 is a-comin'.
According to Destructoid, details of two special editions of the new game have been leaked, as has an unconfirmed release date. The Collectors Edition and Prestige Edition were listed over on Geekay Games, before we heard anything official. They've since been removed, but not before Wario64 nabbed these shots. As you see, there are no shit-your-pants surprises with either, offering the usual figurine, soundtrack CD, fancy box and such.
The release date listed is April 12, 2016, which tallies with the publisher's promised ‘sometime in April.' So now you know.
