Last month, Netflix dropped an enigmatic teaser trailer for their upcoming reboot of Lost in Space. Now they're actually dishing out plot details via this full length trailer, which gives a much better idea of what to expect from this new version of the series. First and foremost, haters of the 1998 film version are going to be unnerved by some of the visual cues this series is taking from that film—re: giant spider monster alien things.

So basically they've tossed the notion of B9 being a robot that was aboard the ship with Smith and the Robinsons, and replaced that character with a native alien of the planet they're stranded on. Interesting idea, and at least it shows they're trying something new, right? They've obviously done that with Smith as well, played by Parker Posey, who can't use B9 to sabotage the mission in the first place. At least, that's what I'm assuming since they're obviously thrown off course by a meteor storm... or something.

Hey, who else though when the kid says, "We're lost" that someone else was going to say, "In space."? Only me? Well, they instead followed it up with "No kidding." Thanks for that. The first season of Lost in Space premieres, in its entirety, on April 13.
