TV & FILM
Michael Garcia - April 29, 2016
If you are of a certain age, (like I am), then you probably were all about an animated TV show in the 80's about a super spy mouse and his mole assistant. I'm talking, of course, about Danger Mouse. I LOVED this show as a kid. I wanted so bad to be Danger Mouse but I couldn't because he's a cartoon, British, and a mouse. Instead I became a writer. Life is unfair. But I can now relive the glory days of my childhood when Danger Mouse returns to TV on Netflix April 29. The show looks to follow the same basic plot as the original with Danger Mouse and Penfold trying to foil the nefarious Dr. Augustus P Crumhorn III, who will be played by John Oliver in this reboot. It will also have the voice talents of Alexander Armstrong as Danger Mouse, Kevin Eldon as Penfold, the great Stephen Fry as Colonel K, Dave Lamb as the narrator, and Cersei Lannister herself Lena Headey as Jeopardy Mouse.
This gives me a reason to get up in the morning.
