Albert Hughes (along with his twin Allen) are usually billed as the directors of the 1993 hit "Menace II Society." They were young directors drafting in the wake of the wildly popular "Boyz N The Hood" at a time when movie titles with customized spelling were a sure path to success. The film was good too even though the only star to come out of it was Jada Pinkett and the guy who played Kane's girlfriend's brother because he had a funny way of crossing the street.
In any case, that guy, Albert Hughes, is directing the miniseries for Crysis 3 that will focus on the different environments within that game's dystopic vision of New York City. The series kicks off online on December 12. If you want to get a taste of the Hughes Brothers' best work check out my favorite outtake from the groundbreaking documentary "American Pimp." This is story-telling.
