I'm a tough guy; probably a lot like most of you out there. I love action movies. I dig the UFC. I wanted to name my first born child Rambo even if it was a girl (second was going to be Rocky; my wife thought she won when I agreed to let the third be named Adrienne).
However, after watching this clip of the ceremonial first pitch at PNC Park yesterday for the Pirates/Phillies game--well, I'll admit it. I teared up.
The men and women that have fought for this country do not get the credit that they deserve, from the average citizen or the government. Jeremy Feldbusch definitely deserves more than just the chance to throw a pitch at a Major League ballpark after losing his sight fighting in Iraq.
You're a good man Jeremy. Thank you and all those that fought with you and still do. Now I better hit save before I start tearing up again.
