If you've never seen Game of Thrones and you find yourself wondering what all the fuss is about, I've got some good news for you. This weekend, in advance of the premier of Season 4 on Sunday night, HBO is running a GOT marathon. In fact, they're not just running every single episode from the first three seasons. They're running them all twice, for a total of 60 straight hours of Game of Thrones. It all started this morning at 9AM over on HBO2, and it will wrap up on Sunday night at precisely 9PM, when Season 4 is set to begin.
Now, I'm not suggesting you sit down and watch 30 hours of television over the next two days. That would be crazy. But 20 or 25 hours seems totally doable, and it ought to get you caught up enough to follow and enjoy the Season 4 premier. The rest you can fill in with the help of HBO's new Game of Thrones viewers guide.
Of course, you could just download Seasons 1-3 illegally like everybody else. But that would be wrong. You should call your cable provider and get HBO instead. I think it costs, like, $600 or something.
Season 4 of Game of Thrones premiers Sunday night at 9PM. The Game of Thrones Marathon is on right now. Why the hell are you still here reading this?
