Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Reveals Forthcoming Free Maps Including Terminal

We're all justified in forgetting about good old Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 with all of the excitement erupting around Black Ops 2 these days. However, good old MW3 is dropping more free content including the beloved "Terminal" map next week as part of the content drop for ELITE subscribers on Xbox 360. The popular airport layout of Terminal made it one of the most popular multiplayer maps of Modern Warfare 2.

For those who want more newness out of their ELITE membership, two other maps are on the way this month, Offshore and Decommissioned. Or as we like to call 'em Falling Off an Oil Rig and Shot in an Oil Tanker, respectively, because that's what's going to happen. Vertigo is the new Special Ops mission coming to ELITE members early as well and has players battling atop the fictional Oasis Hotel in Dubai.

All of this stuff is free, which is the best way to keep all video games fresh, but ELITEs get it on Tuesday July 17, while non-ELITE chumps get it the following day. Those early players are going to be so much better than you by then, you probably shouldn't even bother.
