You know how it is with this ‘console wars' business. It's not just schoolkids bitching at each other and not playing with their rival gamers at recess. It's the companies themselves, competing and one-upping each other whenever they effing can. They just love giving each other the middle finger.

Timed exclusives are kinda lame, really, but every little helps. You can imagine the bitter whining in Xbox HQ when Sony got the rights to Call of Duty DLC releasing a little earlier on their system. That was their thing, after all.

But release it did. Black Ops III's first expansion, Awakening, hit PS4 on February 2. After a month of tooth-gnashing, bitching on the internet and such, we now know when PC/Xbox One gamers can get in on it: March 3.

Veteran Call of Duty-ers will know what the deal is here. Awakening offers a spangly new quartet of multiplayer maps (Rise, Splash, Skyjacked and Gauntlet), plus a new slice of Zombies goodness. This latest is called Der Eisendrache, and you can check it out in action below. Unless you've been playing for a couple weeks already, natch.
