Bioshock Infinite is Coming in October

According to the official Irrational Games website, Bioshock Infinite has just been given a release date of October 16, 2012 and October 19, 2012 internationally.

What does this mean for gamers? It means we're crazy friggin' excited!

Irrational Games has also mentioned earlier this month that Bioshock will strongly appeal to both casual and hardcore gamers with their new "1999 Mode" which is meant as a challenge mode of sorts. 

In 1999 Mode, gamers face more of the permanent consequences of their gameplay decisions. In BioShock Infinite, gamers will have to sweat out the results of their actions. In addition, 1999 Mode will demand that players pick specializations, and focus on them.

The highly anticipated Bioshock Infinite looks to be heading in all the right directions and scratching our backs in all the right places. Bioshock Infinite will be available October 16 for PS3, Xbox, and PC.
