It's not exactly a surprise when a company creates a video game accessory based on an upcoming AAA game. Slapping a known brand on a product will instantly ensure that it will sell, regardless of it's quality. I can't vouch for the quality of Bigben Interactive's newly revealed Call of Duty: Black Ops II controller but I can say that it's a pretty sight to behold.

The PS3 controller will feature:

  • 6-axis and tilt sensor technology
  • 2 vibration motors
  • standard USB cable for sync connection
  • rechargeable battery
  • 10 meter range
  • backlight
  • non-slip, ergonomic triggers
  • rubber side grips

...basically all the standard jazz associated with PS3 controllers. The controller will also have Bluetooth capabilities, which is always a welcome feature. Slap some Call of Duty inlays in the grips and paint it black with vibrant orange accents and you got yourself one desirable controller. Like I've mentioned, I've yet to actually test the capabilities of this controller but, while they they tend to have a bad reputation, Bigben Interactive's Call of Duty: Black Ops II controller is definitely something I'm more than willing to try.

PS3 players eager to add to their Black Ops II experience can pick this controller up for around $65 when it arrives on November 13; the same day as the game's launch.

So, has this controller made it's way onto your 'must buy' list or will you be passing this one up?
