Sony's Beyond: Two Souls ranks as one of the exciting surprises of E3 and is already one of the most highly anticipated titles of the next couple of years regardless of what Playstation platform ends up with it.
The key thing to take away so far is that this Quantic Dream-developed game, like Heavy Rain before it, is being presented as a feature film, complete with top billing for its star, Ellen Page. She plays Jodie Holmes, a young woman who has amazing powers stemming from her connection to an unseen entity --we're convinced it's some kind of ghost. The E3 presentation was amazing with Jodie showcasing her telekinetic abilities in dramatic fashion. Put it this way: they called a SWAT team in for one little girl and it only pissed her off more.
And just to bring things full circle Egotastic! style, here's a picture of Drew Barrymore and Ellen Page kissing. Drew Barrymore once starred in a movie called Firestarter about a girl who had crazy mind powers. Hmmm. We don't create the angles, folks, we just play 'em.
