Regardless of your opinion on the finished project, it's impossible to deny that Avengers: Infinity War wasn't the biggest movie, from a scope and scale point of view, since Return of the King. There was a whole lot of movie crammed into its two and a half hour running time, and that's the biggest thread that the folks over at Screen Junkies latched on to for their latest Honest Trailer.
There are some subtle digs at some of the film's rather minor shortcomings, but even Screen Junkies knows that there's not a ton to pick apart here. Yes, it's an incomplete film, and yes, much of the film's third act will most assuredly be undone in the next Avengers film, but it's no small miracle that this film is as enjoyable and coherent as it is. This could've been a disaster on all fronts, and they managed to make it just about as good as they possibly could have.
I did enjoy the dig about dead superheroes always being resurrected, and a handful of other jokes played pretty well, too, but this is nothing if not a somewhat awestruck endorsement of just how incredible a feat this is. Avengers: Infinity War is available now on DVD, Blu-ray, and Digital HD.
