We've been taught time and time again not to trust trailers because of how filmmakers mess with them. They've screwed with audio in trailers for decades and the digital age has now allowed them to manipulate footage, so there's not much we see in a trailer that we can trust to end up in the finished film in the same way it did in the trailers.
Clips, on the other hand, are a little more trustworthy, making this new clip from Avengers: Endgame our first real look at substantial content from the film. We see the immediate aftermath of Captain Marvel's end credit stinger as Brie Larson's newest MCU hero rallies the team to get their revenge. Don Cheadle's Rhodey then questions where she's been and she shuts him down in a way that's sure to divide the fan base once again.
I don't know about you guys, but I've already got my tickets for this, which is something I never do anymore. I just know that if I don't see it at the very first showing possible, it's going to be spoiled for me in much the same way Infinity War was. I chose the wrong line of work in which to be precious about spoilers, but they've done such a good job at keeping like 95% of this movie under wraps that I want to give Marvel the benefit of the doubt and go in knowing as little as possible.
Avengers: Endgame hits theaters two weeks from Thursday. Tickets are on sale now, so don't wait.
