Greedy people who break the rules almost always get what's coming to them. Case in point? Renel Rene Richardson, the ex-airport worker AKA the iPad Mini burglar who worked with two guys from the outside to steal a whole crapload of iPad Minis.

In case you've been out of the loop this entire time, the iPad Mini is Apple's newest tablet offering and is their latest foray into the 7-inch tablet market. They also happen to be pretty hot commodities because of the legions of Apple fanboys and fangirls who just have to have all the latest releases from Apple.

Total price of the goods stolen? $1.5 million.

The good news is that the cops were able to nab Richardson. The bad news? They weren't able to track down his two accomplices who made off with all the iPads.

Expect a whole lot of iPad Minis to go on sale in the underground market very, very soon--that is, if the cops don't get to them first.
