Addison Rae is making big moves, and no, it’s not another viral TikTok dance. The social media superstar, who skyrocketed to fame on the platform, is stepping into the music industry with the release of her debut album, AR. Yes, she’s ready to trade the ring light for the spotlight, and according to her, this is only the beginning.

In an exclusive interview with Rolling Stone, Rae dives into her journey from TikTok to the recording studio, revealing that AR is more than just an album, it’s her chance to prove herself as an artist.

The album, which features five tracks written and recorded over the past few years, showcases Rae’s love for pop music with a retro twist. Inspired by the likes of Britney Spears and Madonna, AR gives us catchy beats, glossy vocals, and just the right amount of throwback vibes.

But it wasn’t all glitz and glam getting here. Rae admits that she’s faced her fair share of skepticism from both the music industry and the public.

“People think they know who I am because of TikTok, but there’s so much more to me than what I show in 15 seconds.”

With her music, Rae hopes to rewrite the narrative and prove that she’s not just a social media influencer trying to “dabble” in music, she’s here to stay.

Rae’s transition from influencer to musician hasn’t come without its challenges. She’s been vocal about the pressure to prove herself in an industry that often dismisses social media stars. Still, she’s determined to let the music speak for itself.

“I’ve worked really hard to make this album something I’m proud of”

Love her or hate her, Addison Rae’s leap into music is hard to ignore. With AR, she’s trading choreographed TikTok dances for something far more personal and ambitious, and honestly, she just might pull it off!
