GAMING

Some things in this world are just meant to be together. Like one of those vomit-ass couples you see on Facebook, uploading an endless parade of selfies with far too many damn hearts in the captions. Or peanut butter and jelly, which sounds horrific but I'm told is the sandwich filling combo of the gods.
What was it grandma always used to say about judging books by their covers? Don't effing do that, that's what. Maybe I should try PB & J for myself before dismissing it. I don't know. But there's one thing I'm damn sure of: Street Fighter and horseracing is one weird-ass combo that works very, very well.
Yup, this is a thing. Over Asia way, the Japan Cup is coming up, which is a big darn deal over there. In what could well be the best PR stunt in gaming history, they've partnered with Capcom to bring us Japan Sumo Cup, a horseracing rhythm action game with the Street Fighter cast.
There are also sumo wrestlers (not E. Honda, real-life ones), because of course there are. I don't know whose demented idea this was, or what they were taking, but let's not question it. You can fire Hadoukens and Sonic Booms at your foes from horseback, and you really can't say fairer than that.
You can play this madness for yourself right here.
