Minka Kelly Came Close to Doing a Nude Scene for “Euphoria”

Well a nude scene for "Euphoria" was written for Minka Kelly anyway.  It was her first day of shooting and she didn't feel comfortable with getting naked on the set.

From Page Six:

During the scene, Kelly’s Samantha returns home after a night out with her husband, and Maddy helps her unzip her gown.

“[Levinson] thought it would be more interesting if my dress fell to the ground,” Kelly recalled. “I said, ‘I’d love to do this scene, but I think we can keep my dress on.’ He was like, ‘OK!’ He didn’t even hesitate. And he shot a beautiful scene and got exactly what he wanted.”

I have to admit I've never seen a second of Euphoria.  I have to also admit that I agree with Levinson, Minka Kelly dropping her dress would make just about any scene better.

I feel like you have to work up to that though.  You can't go "hi, welcome to the set, now take off your clothes."  That approach rarely works.  Better luck next time!
