The 62nd Annual Grammy Award Round Up

The 62nd Annual Grammy Awards happened last night, and it was a night of mixed emotions from the crowd. With legend Kobe Bryant dying in a horrible helicopter crash just that morning. All the stars gathered to where Kobe would play at the Staples Centre to celebrate music and pay homage to the basketball star.

Alicia Keys hosted the event and took the time to serenade the crowd and attempt to lift their spirits, Demi Lovato came out and did a big cry at the beginning of her set, which she then restarted and sang a touching song about her drug abuse. Billie Eilish took home the award for Album of the Year, along with 4 other awards.

The award show also memorialized the late Nipsey Hustle with a performance by DJ Khaled, John Legand and YG. Nipsey later went on to win the award for Best Rap Performance, his wife Lauren London was there to accept the award.
