CELEBRITY

Hillary Clinton's campaign is pushing two fronts. Female celebrities getting naked to encourage voting and scolding essays by apologetic men in HuffPo and similar political leaning publications about how people who dislike Hillary only do so because she's a woman. Using both titty shows and reductive feminism as a one-two punch is a pretty audacious bite. Like a hooker giving lectures on safe sex. Not a horrible idea in practice, once you get past the rank hypocrisy.
Like Naked Madonna on Twitter, Katy Perry ran a similar I'm naked and voting video on Funny or Die.
Im voting naked with Katy Perry!! Vote for Hillary. She's the Best we got!. Nude Voting series # 1
Getting "young people" out to vote, Rock the Vote, and college voting pushes with what old people think are cool campaign names have been going on since at least the time we lowered the voting age for no solid reason. If people under thirty voted, this would be a two person race between Gary Johnson and Bernie Sanders, both of whom crush the numbers among the demographic that rarely shows up to vote. 18-30's talk a good game but show up in poor numbers. The Republicans are super fine with that. Democrats toss them a topless pop star every now and then and run some MTV specials just to check off the box.
Obama was a natural draw for the young idealists. No marketing needed. In contrast to Obama '08, Hillary Clinton reminds people of their aunt with that chronic illness nobody in the family spoke about who always sent socks for Christmas. This race is coming down to older men versus older women. Nobody's getting laid at the senior's homes on November 8th.
