Last time we checked in on Emilia Clarke it looked as though her biggest worry was being shooed away from a truck stop men's bathroom for creating a live / work space. The Game of Thrones star cleans up nicely for the August issue of Elle Magazine, where she talks GOT sex scenes and feminism. The ol' bait and switch. Reel them in with stories of getting fucked on the number show of choice for Renaissance fair sex offenders, then talk about how owning your fuck scene makes you Susan B. Anthony with cuter hair. And better tits. And just more fuckable features all around.
21st-century feminism is less of a commitment than signing up for a rewards card. The spam emails suck but eating the free scoop of ice cream alone on your birthday at a Baskin Robbins / Dunkin' Donuts / gas station can't be beat. When it comes to modern-day female empowerment, throw in a "#freethenipple" with your Belize vaca selfie on Instagram and you're doing God's work. If God was a terrible woman.
Clarke may not be bravely standing her ground in front of a gigantic dick in Tiananmen Square. Or whatever the fuck. I went to public school. But she does hit the nail on the head in her Elle interview, where she redeems herself slightly from her previous femi-mess. Clarke states while talking about her feminist fuck scene from season four of Game of Thrones:
It's brilliant. I actually went up to [GOT cocreators David Benioff and Dan Weiss] and thanked them. I was like, 'That's a scene I've been waiting for!' Because I get a lot of crap for having done nudes scenes and sex scenes. That, in itself, is so antifeminist. Women hating on other women is just the problem. That's upsetting, so it's kind of wonderful to have a scene where I was like, 'There you go!
Nobody hates a woman quite like another woman. I have friends who would initiate The Purge if it meant they could gun down that bitch Karen from finance. Don't get me started on Susan from accounts receivable. I heard she fucked Dale from purchasing. Slut. The only thing women hate more than other women are highly fuckable women. With cool dragons. Daenerys saying "Women hating on other women is just the problem" is a step in the right direction. Men don't hate women. They love them so much that they want to fuck them.
