Ever since the very, very end of Avengers: Infinity War, we've wanted to know more about the pager that Sam Jacson's Nick Fury used to contact Brie Larson's Captain Marvel. Well, it seems we'll be seeing it in action in March's Captain Marvel, as you can see from this new TV spot for the MCU adventure.

Sure it's all in Czech or Russian or something, but you see him slap the pager in her hand and there's an insert shot of it in her hand, so we know for sure they're going to explain that particular part of the lore. There's also some new bits of action we haven't seen before, like her facing down a Skrull who's wielding a laser gun of some sort.

I learned long ago not to underestimate Marvel when it comes to turning second and third tier characters into the stars of their own film, so I have a feeling that we should only write this film off at our own peril. I think it's going to be a lot of fun just like pretty much every other Marvel movie.

Captain Marvel becomes the latest hero to swing into the Marvel Cinematic Universe on March 8.
