Those bastards over at HBO really know how to draw this Game of Thrones finale out, but we finally know when it will all end, if not how. With the release of this new teaser trailer for the show's eighth and final season, HBO has announced that the show will return in April, 2019, following in the footsteps of all previous seasons which debuted in April, save season seven, which hit in July of last year.
I haven't been an avid watcher of the show since the first season. It just stopped interesting me, but I've tuned in for all of the big episodes and they haven't disappointed. Something tells me that with only six extra-long episodes this season, it's going to be nothing but big episodes.
That stare down at the end between Jon Snow and the Night King at the end of this teaser is enough to get me tuning in for every episode. This is one I won't want to read about, I'm gonna want to see it, and I'd imagine many of you feel likewise.
Game of Thrones returns in April and will wrap up six weeks later.
