‘Captain Marvel’ Character Descriptions Break Down the Main Supporting Cast

With last week's Captain Marvel reveals, we learned a lot about Brie Larson's titular heroine, but precious little about her co-stars like Jude Law, Ben Mendelsohn, and Gemma Chan. Thankfully the issue of Entertainment Weekly that features all of this info also has some blurbs about each of the main supporting players.

While they're still keeping the name of Jude Law's character a mystery for some reason—IMDB has him listed as playing Mar-Vell—we do learn a bit more about him. We also get some details on Gemma Chan's Minn-Erva, Djimon Hounsou's Korath, Lee Pace's Ronan, Ben Mendelsohn's Talos, Lashana Lynch's Photon, and what Sam Jackson's Nick Fury and Clark Gregg's Coulson were getting up to.

There you have it. There's sure to be more to come in the six-ish months until this flick opens, but this should be good at least until we get a trailer. That's supposed to happen sometime later this week, though who knows at this point. Marvel controls everything so precisely, we may not see a trailer until next month, with the first trailer for Avengers 4 not showing up until Christmas.
