I feel like the high-waisted jean fad has finally gone too far. I look at Victoria Justice here and she looks like she has been sewn up in the leftover clippings that have been swept up off the sweatshop floor. The waist of the jeans reaches up to her ribcage. If that is not the northern most limit for pants then what is? These designers are acting like they are the world’s last explorers and they are trying to be the first to reach the North Pole.

Suddenly I understand why rompers were invented.

Victoria’s pant look like the kind of thing that a model would wear on a runway, but the designer would never expect to actually sell. It was only meant to be an attention grabber, but still lower expectations before the big reveal of the main attraction. That is what my parents did at family get togethers. They would send me into the room first before sending in my siblings. Compared to me they could be mistaken for successful.

Come to think of it, my mom is still doing that. Damnit. I knew there was a reason why she never wanted me to help bring things inside from the car.
