Deadpool Apologizes to David Beckham for Joke at His Expense in First Film (VIDEO)

One of the funniest throwaway lines in the first Deadpool involved the Merc with a Mouth saying that David Beckham's voice sounds like he "mouth-sexed a can of helium." Well, even tough guys like David Beckham have feelings, and now everyone's favorite foul-mouthed mutant is making amends with the soccer superstar for that dig in a new video.

The advertising campaign for this flick continues to be the best in the entire industry at the moment, and the saddest thing about the film opening one week from tonight is that it means the ad campaign comes to an end. Still, hopefully there will be plenty of small viral videos like these to remind people to go see the movie again and again.

Even if you're not a huge fan of Beckham, I would suggest at least sticking around until the 1:12-ish mark when Beckham gets in a few digs at Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds, which is always a good bit of fun. It's also kind of funny that Beckham doesn't even think of him as Deadpool when he shows up to apologize.

Ah, good times. We've had a lot of fun with this film's advertising and I'm sad it's nearly at an end. Deadpool 2 opens one week from tonight.
