Avengers: Infinity War had its world premiere last night, and the reactions to the film are rolling in. However, I know what every Marvel fan is really wondering... Do I have to stay all the way through the credits for a stinger scene? And the answer is yes.
This means that as soon as the credits start, you'll have roughly eight minutes to run and take a piss before coming back to see the stinger. That's better than usual when you've only got about four minutes between stingers to run to the bathroom, so one is definitely acceptable.
This hearkens back to the MCU's origins 10 years ago when Tony Stark met Nick Fury at the end of some truly interminable credits for Iron Man. I'm guessing this will be an equally earth-shattering revelation, or why leave it all the way until the very end of the credits?
At least we know it won't be a Thanos reveal as we'll all likely be sick of the big purple blob by then. My money's on it having to do with Captain Marvel, which is the only non-sequel Marvel has in development currently. And yes, there are ways of finding out what it is, but I'm doing my best to stay spoiler free and keep the busters off my jock.
I got my ticket for Saturday morning. How about you guys? When are you seeing it, and can you keep from spoiling it for me?
