Behind the Scenes Video Proves Fighting in a ‘Star Wars’ Movie is Hard (VIDEO)

Except for those handful of shots where Rey trains with her lightsaber and Kylo points his menacingly at someone, there's been very little action in the trailers for The Last Jedi from that most iconic of Star Wars weapons. Thankfully this new video gives us some teases of the lightsaber battles to come as both Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver can be seen fighting multiple folks at once in this new behind the scenes video.

Much like her character, Rey, Daisy Ridley is apparently quite a quick study as evidenced by the fight coordinator saying that she learned in ninety minutes what he thought would take three days. Anyone still interested in calling her a Mary Sue can be invited to leave their stupid comments in their pocket. 

We can also see glimpses of Finn and Phasma's fight that's been teased in the last few trailers, as well as a look at newcomer Kelly Marie Tran in action. More than anything else, you really get the sense that these fights are going to look rough and gritty, without all the gloss that made the prequel fight scenes such a letdown. Gimme down and dirty lightsaber duels over highly choreographed dance fights any day of the week.
